Saturday 16th March a group of us went to Betty's house for a fun
morning of playing Tropical Bingo. This involved Betty making a
mountain of deicious cakes and pastries for us to eat. Then, if
there were any left we could buy them to take home. Betty made a
selection of fruit punches, hence the name "Tropical
Bingo". We played a few games of bingo and of the money
raised, half went to the Spiritulist Church and the other to The
Brighton Belles's fund. £49 was added to our fund, and few
calories to our waist's.
Our Vice
Queen June came along. June was taken quite suddenly ill three
weeks prior to this and could not after all attend the Gathering
of Queens at Thoresby Hall. We were all so relieved to see her up
and about. She is on the way to making a full recovery for which
we give thanks.
We sent June
a beautiful bouquet of Purple and red flowers which she absolutely
loved. It certainly made her feel better to know so many people
were sending her love and best wishes.
