16 Brighton Belles donned their Red & Purple along with a Turban and Apron as worn by ladies during the war.

Here is a taster of what we were treated to when we arrived.

A sherry reception or fruit juice, sandwiches, |fruit & jelly, cake stand with homemade cakes, snacks and copious amount of tea & coffee. After tea we had a sing a long to wartime favourites and some of us did the Lambeth Walk.

There was a Black market stool of Red Hat items, some from USA all at reasonable prizes.

A clothing rail that required no coupons and second hand red & purple clothing.

It was a wonderful spread, and the last that the Fareham Scarlet Fedoras were hosting.

Thanks Queen Mum Rose and all your ladies for a wonderful afternoon.
