Brighton Belles donned their posh
frocks and made their way the The
Grand Hotel on Brighton Seafront, for
an afternoon of fun. We were
entertained by the Ragroof Theatre
group who provided the music, dancing
lessons and partners for a fun
afternoon of 20's, 30's and 40's
music.
It was to raise funds for The
Martlets Hospice. There was a
champagne reception with high tea and
dancing. It was a huge success, 250
people attended. We had a wonderful
time.
The Martlets looks after adults
with life limiting illnesses for whom
curative treatment is no longer
appropriate. This care is aimed at
alleviating the distressing symptons
associated with serious illness as
well as providing specialist emotional
support for the families and carers
through the illness and into
bereavement. |
